New windows not only add beauty but they can also add a high level of energy efficiency to your home.  Windows are a definite return on your investment that will dramatically help reduce energy bills and your carbon footprint.  Many customers report going from 4-5 full tanks of oil per winter down to 2-3 by changing all the windows in their home.  Whether you have old vinyl replacement windows that do not operate smoothly or seal properly or you have original single-pane wood windows with clunky tough-to-clean storms, new windows will dramatically help your caue.
Here is one of the casement windows before replacement began. Notice the large hinges that protrude from the window. This is a new window with the outside cased with 908 composite PVC brickmould for a clean and rot-resistant finishing touch.

3 Large 4-lite casement units. The exterior casing was capped in white aluminum to match existing trim.
The kitchen casement window and casing was replaced. Notice the difference next to the old window and storm window.

Interior and exterior finishing are equally as important as the window must appear original to the home's character while also being battle-ready for the harsh New England weather.  The windows to the right were installed with an Oak interior and trim package to closely resemble the home's original windows while adding FIP qualified glass and true-light screens to update efficiency and quality.
The window's exterior was completed using PVC composite trim to allow for all weather defense that will last and look good doing so for years.
